Lockdown has pulled me back into art-making and I have even made muffins, butter chickpea (butter chicken minus the chicken plus the chickpeas, lol) homemade pizza and banana bread.

I thought I would share this amazing Banana Bread recipe by Daphne Chowles which I have tweaked slightly. Give it a try... It's sooooo easy and super yummy!

𝘐𝘯𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴⠀⠀⠀
• 125g Butter⠀⠀⠀
• 3 Bananas⠀⠀⠀
• 2 Cups of Flour⠀⠀⠀
• 1 Teaspoon Bicarbonate of Soda (mixed with 3 teaspoons hot water)⠀⠀⠀
• 2 Eggs⠀⠀⠀
• 1 Cup of Sugar (add more if you prefer it sweet)⠀⠀⠀
• 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder⠀⠀⠀
• 0.25 Teaspoon Vanilla Essence⠀⠀⠀
• Dash of Milk (if needed)⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀
𝘚𝘵𝘦𝘱𝘴⠀⠀⠀
• Cream butter and sugar. ⠀⠀⠀
• Beat in the eggs. ⠀⠀⠀
• Mash the bananas and add to the mixture.⠀⠀⠀
• Add vanilla essence.⠀⠀⠀
• Fold baking powder and flour into the mixture. ⠀⠀
• Add bicarbonate of soda and a little milk if needed to reach a dropping consistency.⠀⠀⠀
• Line a bread pan with baking paper.⠀⠀⠀
• Pour or spoon mixture into the pan.⠀⠀
• Bake in a moderate oven for about one hour.
